Professor Anthony J. Santoro

Professor Anthony J. SantoroProfessor Anthony J. Santoro was the founding dean at both Roger Williams University School of Law and of Widener Law School in Harrisburg, Penn. He served as President of Roger Williams University from 1993-2000.  At RWU Law, Professor Santoro is a very popular teacher of a range of business courses. Before entering legal education, Professor Santoro earned his B.A. from Boston College and both his J.D. and LL.M. from Georgetown.

In recognition of the important role that Santoro played in his life – and the lives of countless other students – Brian Ali ’06, vice president of Asian Equity at Deutsche Bank, established a special endowed lecture series at Roger Williams University School of Law.
 
The Professor Anthony J. Santoro Business Law Lecture Series brings leading lawyers and business professionals to RWU Law, presenting on important issues in the field of business law while enriching the school’s dynamic learning environment with practical knowledge and valuable networking opportunities. This series is a wonderful tribute to Professor Santoro’s distinguished career as a legal educator.
