URI Student White Papers

The Institute works closely with the University of Rhode Island Marine Affairs program. The joint JD/MMA degree affords students an opportunity to engage in in-depth studies of multiple aspects of marine policy development and law.

In the course of their education, RWU law students are required to prepare a major writing project.  As well, University of Rhode Island Marine Affairs Master candidates are required to prepare a major paper on a topic related to marine and maritime affairs. 

The subjects of the papers cover a wide range of interests and topics. The papers below are the product of these requirements.
