Accelerated Graduation Program

Students in the Accelerated Graduation Program can complete a J.D degree in two and one-half years, thereby saving an entire semester of living expenses, taking the bar examination and entering the job market nearly six months earlier than their classmates.  Students in the program complete the same number of credit hours as traditional three-year JD students, but they complete that work in five semesters over the course of two and one-half calendar years, including summer coursework.  These students are able to select from the full-range of electives offered by the School of Law School, including participation in our extensive array of clinical courses, and they have the opportunity to participate in all extracurricular and co-curricular activities, including the Roger Williams University Law Review and the Roger Williams University Moot Court.  Accelerated Graduation Program students will take courses each summer, but all summer courses are scheduled during the evening to allow these students to seek daytime employment and externship experiences, including the possibility of earning academic credit for a summer externship.
