RWU Law had a 86% pass rate for the July 2012 Massachusetts Bar for all first-time test takers, above the state average. Massachusetts is the state with the largest number of our graduates sitting for the exam and is our reporting state for the American Bar Association.
Campaign to Honor Dean Logan
Dean David A. Logan, who has successfully led RWU Law for the past 11 years, will step down at the conclusion of this academic year and return to teaching full-time. During his tenure, Dean Logan has demonstrated an extraordinary passion and commitment to the law school, his students and his colleagues. One of our country’s longest-serving law deans, Logan’s tireless efforts have elevated RWU Law’s stature on a national level.
A fundraising campaign is underway to permanently name a signature space at the School of Law in David’s honor. The David A. Logan Conference Room (one of his favorite places to collaborate with students and colleagues) will be a visible and lasting tribute to him.
Mark Mandell PL’11, Chairman of the RWU Law Board of Directors, and Mario J. Gabelli ’92H, Roger Williams University Trustee, have generously committed leadership level gifts to this campaign, to spearhead the entire RWU Law community in this collective effort.
Alumni, faculty, staff and friends of RWU Law are invited to join in this effort by making a gift in David Logan’s honor. To show your appreciation for Dean Logan – and to help honor his legacy – please make your gift today.
