Alumni Celebrate, Donate Toys-for-Tots

Posted by Kimberly Ahern on 12/15/2014 at 02:26 PM

1The annual Law Alumni Association Holiday Reception was held on Wednesday, December 3rd in Providence.  It is always a great event with over one hundred alumni, lawyers, professors and Judges attending.  It has been a long-standing tradition that attendees are asked to bring a gift to donate to the annual Toys-for-Tots toy drive and this year was an overwhelming success with two large bins full of toys donated!  Thank you to all the attendees who generously donated a toy this year.

In addition to this being the first Holiday Reception with Dean Yelnosky at the helm, the Law Alumni Association was also thrilled that our former professor and Providence Mayor-Elect Jorge Elorza was able to join in the festivities as well.  This celebration is always a wonderful time to reflect back on the past year at Roger Williams Law and look forward to the New Year!

The Law Alumni Association would like to wish the entire RWU Law community a happy holiday season. If you are interested in information regarding the Law Alumni Association or in joining one of its committees, please contact the Office of Law Alumni Relations at (401) 254-4541 or e-mail lawalumni@rwu.edu. And please visit and become a fan of our Facebook page.
