In addition to the resources of the Office of Career Services, the Law Library’s Career collection located on the shelves adjacent to Training Lab 2 has publications on cover letters and resumes.  You can check out these publications in addition to the other publications in the Career collection for three weeks.

Best Resumes and CVs for International Jobs: Your Passport to the Global Job Market (HF5383 .K685 2002) by Ronald L. Krannich and Wendy S. Enelow offers advice for those desiring to employment outside the U.S.

Federal Resume Guide: Write a Winning Federal Resume to Get in, Get Promoted, and Survive in a Government Job (JK716 .T73 2004) by Kathryn Kraemer Troutman covers writing a Knowledge, Skills and Abilities statement (KSA) in addition to other tips for getting a job with the federal government.  The USAJobs website offers additional information on obtaining employment with the federal government.

The Legal Career Guru’s Guide to the Perfect Legal Resume (KF297 .E4 2000) by J. Murray Elwood offers advice on writing chronological and functional resumes.
