5In a hard-fought battle, Brett Beaubien edged out John Ryan Henry in the finals of the 19th Esther Clark Moot Court competition. The competition drew a large crowd of faculty members,  attorneys, students, and even participants' family members. The Rhode Island Supreme Court graciously dedicated its time and wisdom to judge these talented oralists.

Also special acknowledgment to Ed Pare who was awarded Best Brief! Congratulations to all sixteen new members of the Moot Court Board including:

3These newly inducted members have survived two grueling moot tournaments and have shown the utmost skill and professionalism. Many of them will participate in external Moot Court competitions in the spring and I am confident they will represent Roger Williams University School of Law with great distinction.

1The Board would like to thank Dean Yelnosky, Professor Goldstein,  and Heather Bernier for their invaluable support and assistance in coordinating this event. A special thank you to all the faculty members and attorneys that served as brief graders and judges.

The Moot Court season continues on with its Moot Court finalists from last year,  Sydney Kirsch and Daniel Reilly,  competing for a bid to the Nationals on November 14-16 in Boston, MA. Best of luck!
