On a faculty of distinguished scholars, RWU law is especially lucky to have Peter Margulies, who since 9/11 has become one of the country’s most prolific and respected scholars in the area of National Security. His high profile is affirmed by the recent publication of "National Security Law in the News," by the American Bar Association and Northwestern Law School, which contains his chapter on the federal law barring "material support" of terrorism. https://apps.americanbar.org/abastore/index.cfm?fm=Product.AddToCart&pid=3550021.
I also am proud to announce recent projects by alums Randall Lewis and Carroll Connelley.
Randall (RWU Law ‘97) is a hugely successful international lawyer, currently based in Shanghai City, China, serving as Associate General Counsel - Asia Pacific, at Danone. Here’s his recent cover story in the journal of the Association of Corporate Counsel, on the timely topic of dispute avoidance in China.
Lieutenant Colonel Carroll Connelley is an infantry officer turned lawyer (make that RWU lawyer, class of ’03), who after tours in Iraq and Africa became the Deputy Director of the Leadership Education and Development Division at the United States Naval Academy. Carroll is a editor of the book “Aspects of Leadership: Ethics, Law, and Spirituality.” The book is available at the U.S. Government Printing Office Bookstore http://bookstore.gpo.gov/actions/GetPublication.do?stocknumber=008-055-00255-9
Congratulations Peter, Randall, and Carroll!
