The Law Library’s WebCatalog: A Law Student’s Friend

Posted by Library Blog on 09/12/2013 at 11:29 AM

The Law Library’s WebCatalog is a powerful search engine.  It enables you to search for books, ebooks, periodicals, databases, websites, and government documents in hundreds of legal subjects.  The Law Library’s collection is particularly strong in alternative dispute resolution, environmental, First Amendment, human rights, maritime, and national security law.

Find study aids for classes, get tips on career exploration/job searching, learn about legal technology in law practice management, or keep up on a current hot topic.

Search by keyword, author or title.  You will retrieve the most relevant items with a keyword search.  Too many results? Limit your search by location (e.g. Reserve), format type, year, or even publisher.  Save your search results if you are working on a research project.

For personalized help using the WebCatalog, visit the Librarian staffing the Reference Desk.
