Posted by Library Blog on 02/28/2014 at 11:30 AM

There’s still time this semester to learn more about the wealth of resources for legal research or improve your skills using Lexis Advance and WestlawNext.  You still have time to take advantage of the Prepare for Practice Certification Program class offerings coming up.  Even if you are not pursuing certification, you can learn more about the following from the Librarians:

  • Transactional Research: Finding Legal Forms
  • Find It Free & Fast: Reliable Websites for Legal Research
  • Alternatives to Lexis & Westlaw: Casemaker and Fastcase

Lexis Advance Representative Steve Albro and WestlawNext Representative Kimberly Kenneally will be offering a variety of classes on their respective systems as well as joint programs on Lexis Advance and WestlawNext Cost Effective Research.

To view a schedule of training programs or to register for a class, check out the  Law Library Computer Lab/Events Schedule.  You can also register for the remaining Prepare for Practice classes at the Prepare for Practice Program Law Guide.
