One of the strengths of a Roger Williams legal education is the support our students and graduates have in the legal community, and one manifestation of this is leading lawyers and judges who have recently joined our Board of Directors:

* Mark Gemma, from Gemma Law Associates (RWU Law ‘97)
* Patrick Jones, from Cooley Manion Jones
* Howard Merten, from Partridge Snow & Hahn LLP
* Stephen Prignano, from Edwards Wildman Palmer
* James Ruggieri, from Higgins, Cavanagh & Cooney
* William Smith, United States District Judge
* Denise Squillante, immediate past President of the Massachusetts Bar
* Ed Weiss, General Counsel of the Fenway Sports Group

This strong group joins another strong group that includes Board Chair Mark Mandell (recently recognized by the Inner Circle of Advocates as one of the top trial lawyers in the country. Vice-Chair, Judge Bruce Selya from the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, Treasurer Joe Whelan from Whelan and Siket (and long-time member of our Adjunct Faculty), and RI Superior Court Judge Netti Vogel.  A full list of all Directors is here.
