CASEMAKER, a legal research service available to members of the Rhode Island Bar and 27 other state bar associations, is now accessible to you free of charge in the law school version, CASEMAKERX. CASEMAKERX contains state and federal cases, codes, and rules. There is even a citator built in to find the cases in which your case has been cited! Their current awareness service is CASEMAKERdigest. Begun August 2011, CASEMAKERdigest is updated weekly with summaries of opinions from recently decided court cases.
Legal forms on CASEMAKERX are available for a fee. However, you will want to use the free forms available in the Law Library’s collection or via LexisNexis and Westlaw.
