It’s getting to be that time of year, paper time! Fortunately, the Legal Beagle does not have to write papers! But if you have a paper to research, do not hesitate to ask the Reference Librarian on duty at the Reference Desk for help with locating materials. If you need a book or journal article that is not in the Law Library’s collection (print and electronic) nor at the undergraduate library, you can obtain it through interlibrary loan. Forms for requesting an interlibrary loan are available at the Circulation Desk. Thelma Dzialo, who processes the interlibrary loan requests (and owns Samantha, a black lab mix), can answer any questions you might have about your request.
If the item is at the undergraduate library, simply take a stroll (among Legal Beagle’s favorite activities) and ask the staff person at the Circulation Desk to add your name to their list of patrons and then you can check out books for 30 days. Make sure you have your law school ID to show them.
