photo of Prof SackThere are many ways to measure whether a law faculty is respected; publishing articles in the leading academic journals is a traditional way, as is filing amicus briefs in the Supreme Court of the United States.  Increasingly, serving as a “public intellectual” is another, being asked to provide commentary on the issues of the day, and while some of us appear in the traditional media (international, like the Financial Times, nationally, like the New York Times, or locally, like the Providence Journal or Providence Business News), the RWU law faculty is actively engaged in the burgeoning discourse on the internet.  photo of Prof Margulies
