Summer Legal Research

This summer, will you be conducting research for any of the following activities?

  • Taking a class
  • Working for a lawyer or firm
  • Working for a non-profit
  • Clerking for a judge
  • Working as a faculty research assistant
  • Interning
  • Externing
  • Law Review research and writing
  • Fulfilling your pro bono requirement
  • Exploring topics for a directed research

If so, Bloomberg Law and Lexis Advance offer summer access to you for any of the above activities.  You do not need to do a thing to search their wide-variety of primary and secondary authorities.

WestlawNext offers 40 hours of access in June and in July to those who meet any one of the following:

  • Taking summer classes
  • Law Review member
  • Moot court member
  • Faculty research assistant
  • Unpaid non-profit public interest internship/externship or pro bono requirement for graduation
