Wednesday, October 28 - Saturday, October 31

An innovative hands-on program in the skills of direct examination and cross-examination of witnesses will be offered October 28 - 31, 2015, presented jointly by the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island, the Roger Williams University School of Law, and the Federal Bar Association.

The program will take place at the federal courthouse and offer a unique opportunity to build trial skills, especially in questioning witnesses in a mock trial setting, with constructive critiques by judges and experienced litigators.  The program is designed for lawyers who want to hone basic trial skills.

CLE credit will be available, and the cost will be $400.  Some scholarships sponsored by the Rhode Island Chapter of the Federal Bar Association will be available based on financial need.

Watch for more details and information about applying, coming in late August.

Program questions may be directed to Professor Niki Kuckes at nkuckes@rwu.edu or Brooks Magratten at bmagratten@PierceAtwood.com.
