Milbank Diversity Scholars
Award: $50,000 ($15,000 during third year of law school and $35,000 contingent of receipt and acceptance of a Milbank permanent offer); Paid 2L Summer Associate position
Deadline: September 1, 2010
Criteria: Successful completion of your first year of a full-time JD Program. You cannot be a recipient of a similar scholarship from another law firm. Joint degree candidates must have completed two years of a JD program.
Latham Diversity Scholars Program
Amount: $10,000 for third year in law school
Deadline: September 30, 2010
Criteria: Successful completion of your first year of a full-time JD Program (graduation date Spring 2011) and intent to practice in a major U.S. city. You cannot be a recipient of a similar scholarship from another law firm.
Dinsmore & Shohl LLP Diversity Scholarship Program
Award:$10,000, a paid summer associate position, and an assigned mentor in Cincinnati, Charleston, Lexington, or Louisville office.
Deadline: September 15, 2010
Criteria: Must be a second year student in good standing at an ABA approved law
King & Spalding Diversity Fellowship
Award: $10,000 for tuition and expenses during third year of law school and summer associate position at choice of Atlanta, NYC, DC or Houston.
Deadline: September 1, 2010
Criteria: Must be a second year student in good standing at an ABA approved law school.
Miller Nash Diversity Fellowship Program
Award: $7,500 for tuition and expenses paid summer clerk position in Portland, Vancouver, or Seattle.
Deadline: September 13, 2010
Criteria: Must be a second year student in good standing at an ABA approved law school. Must be willing and able to fill summer clerk position for at least 12 weeks and must intend to work, live and practice law in the Pacific Northwest.
Morgan Lewis Diversity Fellowship Program
Award: $15,000 and paid summer associate position
Deadline: September 17, 2010
Criteria: Must be a second year student in good standing at an ABA approved law school.
George V. Powell Diversity Scholarship
Award: $7500 for tuition and expenses during third year of law school and summer associate position at Seattle or Portland office of Lane Powell PC.
Deadline: September 10, 2010
Criteria: Must be a second year student in good standing at an ABA approved law school. Must have a demonstrated interest in work in Seattle or Portland.
Dickstein Shapiro Diversity Scholarship
Award: $15,000 for tuition and expenses upon completion of summer associate program at Dickstein Shapiro.
Deadline: September 3, 2010
Criteria: Must be a second year student in good standing at an ABA approved law school.
