Tyron Garner Memorial Fellowship for African-American LGBT Civil Rights
Award: $500 weekly paid summer internship (up to 14 weeks) plus transportation costs to placement location.
Deadline: Open Until Filled
Criteria: Candidates must be a law student or recent law graduate willing to work in any of the Lambda Legal’s five offices during the summer of 2008. Should have first-hand understanding of the issues that affect communities of color and have experience working with LGBT and HIV issues and with African American communities.

Quarles & Brady LLP Native American Public Interest Split Program
Award: $2400 weekly paid associate position (12 weeks) half spent at the Phoenix offices of Quarles & Brady and the other half spent at their client’s office, Navajo Housing authority in Window Rock.
Deadline: Open until filled
Criteria: Candidates must be a first year law student at an ABA approved law school with a demonstrated interest in Native American Law.
