Each year, the Marine Affairs Institute takes RWU Law students on an educational cruise on Narragansett Bay. This trip helps first year students better understand many of the marine and maritime issues affecting Rhode Island and New England.
Our students bring a remarkable breadth and depth of experience to the classroom. They’ve included doctors, archeologists, teachers, engineers, Wall Street bankers, Capitol Hill staffers, journalists, lobbyists, police officers, documentary filmmakers, environmental activists, Fulbright Fellows, Peace Corps volunteers, marine researchers and military officers, to name just a few.
