Our Pro Bono Collaborative mobilizes Rhode Island law firms, law students and community organizations to provide desperately needed legal assistance for the underserved residents of the state. The unique program includes 10 major law firms, over 20 community-based organizations and several dozen law students.
Welcome to the Office of Career Development! We can guide you through the process of making a change in your practice, career direction, or geographic area. In turn, you can help your alma mater by participating in Career Development programs, posting an employment opportunity with your organization, and updating your employment status with our office.
As an alumni, you can set up an individual appointment with any member of our office to discuss the unique needs facing you from the initial post-grad job search to advanced career transitions.
We share job openings with over 100 other law schools through the Intercollegiate Job Bank, which you can access through your Symplicity account.

Employment Status Update
The Office of Career Development strives to maintain accurate employment statistics for RWU Law graduates. This is important not only for required reporting to the National Association for Law Placement and the American Bar Association, but also for students to examine trends in the labor market. For these reasons, we ask that all alumni keep in touch with the Office of Career Development and inform us of your current employment status. Report your current employment status
How You Can Help
One of the major functions of the Office of Career Development is to bring employers, students, and alumni together. Help your employer recruit students and alumni by posting an academic year, summer, or permanent position or by participating in our On-Campus Interview Program. We would welcome your participation in our office programs, mock interviews, student mentoring, or moot court competitions. If you'd like to post a position or participate in Career Development programs, please contact our office.
