The Honorable Bruce M. Selya is a senior federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. After engaging in the private practice of law for nearly a decade, Judge Selya was appointed as an Associate Judge on the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island in 1982. In 1986, he was elevated to the First Circuit, where he sat for two decades before assuming senior status in 2006.
