“I measure the distance between Macon, Georgia, and Bristol, Rhode Island, in more than just miles,” says Marcus Jones.

“After growing up in the Deep South and going to school at a small Southern Baptist university, I had no idea of what to expect when I enrolled at RWU Law. What I found was a diverse, open and caring community – where different viewpoints, outlooks and opinions are welcome, and where students, faculty and staff look at the world in Technicolor, not black and white.”

For most of his law school career, Marcus was as an officer of the Student Bar Association and an Admissions Office Ambassador, introducing prospective students to RWU Law. He currently works as an Assistant District Attorney at the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts.
