Roger Williams University School of Law is pleased to announce that Christine Maltby of Stoughton, Mass., has been awarded the John Birnberg Memorial Award. The award was established through the generosity of the Birnberg Foundation and honors a student who has demonstrated perseverance, determination, and dedication to succeed throughout his or her entire law school career at Roger Williams.
Maltby is chair of the Honor Board and a member of Phi Alpha Delta and the Trial Team. She was a student attorney for the RWU Law Criminal Defense Clinic in Providence and recipient of the 2009 Law Student Ethics Award, given by the northeast chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
Maltby earned her Bachelor of Arts in Administration of Justice from Salve Regina University, Newport, R.I.
She is the daughter of Barbara and Robert Maltby, Stoughton, Mass.
