The Roger Williams University
Law Review is a scholarly law journal,
which is managed, edited and published by
students of Roger Williams University School
of Law.
Published twice each year,
the Law Review devotes the Fall issue to
topics with a national focus, while the
Spring issue concerns topics with a unique
Rhode Island flavor.
Committed to serving both
a national and Rhode Island audience, the
Law Review is distributed to law school
libraries, government institutions, private
law firms and individual subscribers. Each
volume contains a comprehensive range of
articles, essays, and student notes and
comments. In addition, the Spring issue
features a topical survey of Rhode Island
law.
Above all, the Law Review
is committed to full, frank discussions
regarding any and all legally significant
issues.
The Roger Williams University Law Review
accepts unsolicited manuscripts and letters,
both in paper form and via the electronic
mail address below. All manuscripts must
be typewritten, double-spaced and on 8"
x 11" paper; footnotes should conform
with The Bluebook: A Uniform System
of Citation (18th ed. 2005), copyright
by the Columbia, Harvard, and University
of Pennsylvania Law Reviews and the
Yale Law Journal.
Although the Law Review reserves
the right to edit all manuscripts and letters,
it is the goal of the Law Review
to preserve the individuality of each author's
work. The Law Review edits articles for
spelling, grammar, and citation form. Neither
the author's writing style nor the substantive
article structure are revised without the
express consent of the author.
Manuscripts cannot be returned unless accompanied
by a stamped, self-addressed envelope of
appropriate size. Letters cannot be returned.
Acknowledgment of receipt of manuscripts
is made immediately upon receipt, and publication
decisions are made within one week of receipt.
Copyright is reserved by the Law Review
to all material published by the Law Review,
