The RWU Law Alumni Association is conducting its annual election of the Board of Directors. This election will fill six (6) vacancies on the Board. Each elected Director will serve a three-year term of office, commencing July 1, 2010.

If you are interested in joining the Law Alumni Association Board of Directors, please complete the Nomination Form. All nominees must secure the endorsement of three other law alumni. Endorsements may be received by mail, fax or email, and can be forwarded separately or together. Alumna/us may endorse the nominations of multiple alumni.

The Office of Alumni, Programs & Events must receive all nominations no later than Thursday, March 4, 2010. Thereafter, ballots will be forwarded to all alumni. The results of this Board of Directors election shall be made public in April, 2010.

After the new Board members are elected, you will receive an email to make nominations for Executive Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer) from among the members of the new Board of Directors. This information will also be posted on-line. The 2010-2011 Executive Officer election shall take place at the Annual Meeting/Annual Law Alumni Breakfast in conjunction with the Rhode Island Bar Association Annual Meeting, scheduled for Thursday, June 10, 2010, at The Westin Providence.
