Law Student Blogs

Our law student narratives describe a wide range of experiences at Roger Williams University School of Law.

Who are the bloggers?

Hala Furst is a 3L who received a B.A. in Theatre Arts at the University of Minnesota and lived in Minneapolis/ St. Paul for seven years prior to moving to Rhode Island. In the three years between graduating from college and arriving in Bristol, she worked as a hotel concierge for a luxury brand, a loan officer and mortgage broker, a freelance casting agent for a music video network, and an actor - among other things.

Regina Curran is 3L who received her BA in Sociology from Texas A&M University. She is originally from both Texas and Oklahoma. She had always wanted to live in New England and took advantage of the opportunity to start a new phase of her life in a new location. She interned for Legal Aid as an undergrad and is interested in actively working to improve the situation of others on a daily basis.

Kelly Bennett is a 2L and a recent graduate of Stonehill College with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration. She has served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard since 2000; formerly as an Intelligence Analyst and currently as an ROTC cadet and JAG apprentice at the State Joint Force Headquarters in Milford, MA.
