Barbra Supsky, Clinic Secretary
Barbra, a graduate of American University, joined the staff of the Law Clinic as part-time receptionist in January 2006. It is her job to facilitate communication between the students and their clients.
“The best part of my job,” Barbra says, “is meeting new students each semester and developing relationships with each student individually. There are so many different personalities and perspectives; it never gets old. I love speaking to all of the students, everyday, and helping them to maintain their relationships with their clients” Barbra thinks the clinic is a fabulous experience for law students because they learn things that can not easily be taught in a classroom. “Students learn how to deal with clients and colleagues who are real people with real lives and unique personal situations. They learn how to find their way through what is sometimes an enigmatic system.”
