Public Interest Summer Internships
are a terrific way to gain experience, make
valuable contacts, and build a powerful public
interest resume. Students can apply for
a summer stipend through the Feinstein Institute's
Public Interest Stipend Program.
Both the University and the
School of Law contribute generously to this
program. Further, the Student Bar
Association and the Association for Public
Interest Law team up to sponsor a fun and
very successful Winter Auction to raise
even more funds for the program.
During the summer of 2008,
24 students received stipends and gained
incredible experience working in highly diverse public interest settings.
The Feinstein Institute holds an informational session about summer funding
and our Summer Stipend Program early in the
second semester. Summer stipend program materials are available
in early March.
