Dear Friends and Supporters of the Pro Bono Collaborative:

Ten years ago, in 2006, Roger Williams University School of Law launched a cutting-edge collaborative model

of pro bono service delivery – the Pro Bono Collaborative. The PBC sought to leverage the untapped resources

of Rhode Island’s law firms, the trusted connection between community based organizations and those they

serve, and the budding professionalism and energy of law students, to increase the provision of free legal

assistance to Rhode Island’s most vulnerable communities. Now, ten years later, thanks to our many partners,

the PBC is a robust program facilitating legal assistance to hundreds of low-income people every year and

providing a strong voice for access to justice in Rhode Island.

As we celebrate our tenth anniversary, we are proud of the great service our partner firms, attorneys, alumni,

community organizations and students are providing. We reflect on all that we have accomplished together

and look forward with hope and excitement as we continue to work toward increasing access to justice for

those most in need.

We are grateful to the partners, donors and friends who have supported us in this vital work.
