Library of Congress THOMAS World Wide Web System - Provides bill summaries back to 1973 and bill text beginning with 101st Congress in 1989. For retrieved bill, provides links to Congressional Record, Committee Reports, summary and status, and full text display.

Public Laws

GPO Access - Can search public laws by words back to 104th Congress (1995-1996).

Library of Congress THOMAS World Wide Web System - Public laws by law number from 1973 to the present; major legislation searchable by topic for 104th and 105th Congresses.

U.S. Code

U.S. House of Representative, Office of the Law Revision Counsel - Searchable database which also provides the ability to download titles, view the classification tables, and contains a description of positive law codification.

A Century of Lawmaking for a New Nation: U.S. Congressional Documents and Debates: 1774-1873 - Part of the Library of Congress's American Memory collection, this site provides fully searchable, full-text of legislative history documents including the Journals of the Continental Congress, Letters of Delegates to Congress, Elliot's Debates, Farrand's Records, House Journal, Senate Journal, Senate Executive Journal, Maclay's Journal, Annals of Congress, Bills and Resolutions, Statutes at Large (1789-1875),  American State Papers, U.S. Serial Set (partial), Annals of Congress, Register of Debates, Congressional Globe, and Congressional Record (1873-75).

Congressional Research Service Reports - The Law Librarians' Society of Washington, D.C. provides a selection of CRS Reports on Congress as part the the LLSDC's Legislative Source Book. This site also provides links to other sources of CRS Reports available through the internet.

HeinOnline - This service provides access to federal legislative materials and legislative histories, including the Statutes at Large and Congressional Record.
