Research Guides

Members of the library staff have created a variety of tools to aid researchers. Three major projects, Researching the Laws of the Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations Survey of State Documents and Law-Related Materials, and the Rhode Island Bar Journal Cumulative Index, were designed to provide improved access to Rhode Island materials.

In addition, Time Savers, the Library's ongoing publication series of bibliographies and guides, provides information pertaining to resources available on selected subjects and legal research techniques. Additional Timesavers are prepared as needed during the school year; copies of these are available in the Library.
