American Society of International Law - An excellent source for a variety of materials relating to international law, including the Electronic Information System for International Law.

Australasian Legal Information Institute -  Sponsored by the University of Technology Sydney and the University of New South Wales, AustLII provides free internet access to Australian legal materials with the "broad public policy agenda ... to improve access to justice through better access to information." 

British and Irish Legal Information Institute - Hosted by the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, London and the University College Cork, BAILII is a public trust incorporated to provide free access to British and Irish primary legal materials.

Canadian Legal Information Institute - This source of free Canadian primary legal material was designed by LexUM (University of Montreal) for the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.

Constitutions Suite Online - This service provides access to Constitutions of the Countries of the World with authoritative English translations by scholars familiar with the legal systems and languages of the foreign jurisdictions they cover. Council of Europe - This site provides information about the Council of Europe, its activities, and text of the Council's treaties.

EISIL - The Electronic Information System for International Law provides links to quality sources of primary materials, authoritative web sites and research guides on international law.

EUR-Lex - Maintained by the Office for Official Publications of the European Communities, this site provides access to the Official Journal of the European Union, treaties, legislation in force, legislation in preparation, case-law, parliamentary questions, and selected additional European Community documents of public interest.

European Court of Human Rights - The court's pages provide access to information on pending cases, decisions of the court, and selected basic texts.

Foreign & International Law - D' Angelo Law Library, University of Chicago - Categories include: Constitutions and Constitutional Courts, Comparative Law, Laws of Foreign Countries, Treaties, U.S. Foreign Affairs, European Union, Council of Europe, United Nations, Other International Organizations, War Crimes, Human Rights, International Trade, International Commercial Arbitration, Intellectual Property, and International Law Journals.

GlobaLex - Published by the Hauser Global Law School Program at NYU School of Law, this website is dedicated to the dissemination of high-level international, foreign, and comparative law research tools, including research guides and links to the Guide to International and Foreign Law Databases, the European Integration Current Contents, and various working papers series.

Guide to Law Online - This guide is prepared by the Law Library of Congress, Public Services Division, and is an annotated guide to sources for foreign online government and legal information and includes selected links to useful and reliable sites.

HeinOnline - This service provides access to a vast array of foreign and international law materials, including the English Reports, Full Reprint, international yearbooks and periodicals, U.S. Law Digests, and both official and unofficial treaty resources. Human & Constitutional Rights - Designed by the Arthur W. Diamond Law Library at Columbia Law School to provide access to materials in Human Rights and Constitutional Rights, this site includes IGO/NGO Reports, International, Regional, and National links, links to documents, and links to other web resources.

Human Rights Library, University of Minnesota - Maintained by the University of Minnesota Human Rights Center, this site provides searchable access to human rights documents, bibliographies, and links other sites with material on human rights.

Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals - The Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals is produced by The American Association of Law Libraries and provides access to worldwide legal literature covering all forms of foreign law, including comparative law and legal systems.  [Subscription site. Institute of Global Law, Univ. College London - This site provides translated versions of French and German materials in the fields of constitutional, administrative, contract and tort law. It includes cases from the Bundesverfassungsgericht, the Bundesgerichtshof, the Conseil Constitutionnel, the Conseil d'Etat and the Cour de Cassation. The site also includes limited case materials from Austria and Israel.

Intute: Law - This site provides guidance on and access to global legal information resources available via the internet with emphasis on identifying and evaluating legal resources sites offering primary and secondary materials and other items of legal interest.

Legal Research on International Law Issues Using the Internet - Created by Lyonette Louis-Jacques, Foreign and International Law Librarian and Lecturer in Law, University of Chicago Law School, with extensive links to web sites for international law materials.

Treaties in Force - The latest edition of Treaties in Force is provided by the Department of State in PDF format. The Index and Table of Contents are available via a link to the Index thereby enabling the researcher to determine page references in Treaties in Force before accessing the PDF files.

United Nations - The U.N.'s web site provides information on the U.N.'s organization, conferences, and text of selected official documents.

United Nations Treaty Collection - This collection includes: the status of multilateral treaties deposited with the Secretary-General; Depositary Notifications (CNs); Certified True Copies (CTCs) of multilateral treaties; the United Nations Treaty Series; the League of Nations Treaty Series; texts of recently deposited multilateral treaties; and, the United Nations Treaty Series Cumulative Index.  [Subscription site. WashLaw WEB at Washburn University School of Law Library - Maintained by the Washburn University School of Law Library, this site may be the most comprehensive law school site with over 480 categories organized by jurisdiction and type of legal information, including materials for over 170 foreign jurisdictions.

World Legal Information Institute - WorldLII is a free, independent and non-profit global legal research facility accessing databases at the Australasian Legal Information Institute, British and Irish Legal Information Institute, Canadian Legal Information Institute, Hong Kong Legal Information Institute, Pacific Islands Legal Information Institute, and Wits Law School, South Africa.
