The
Institute works closely with the University
of Rhode Island Marine Affairs program. The
joint JD/MMA degree affords students an
opportunity to engage in in-depth studies
of multiple aspects of marine policy development
and law.
In the course of their
education, RWU law students are required
to prepare a major writing project.
As well, University of Rhode Island Marine
Affairs Master candidates are required to
prepare a major paper on a topic related
to marine and maritime affairs.
The subjects of the
papers cover a wide range of interests and
topics. The papers below are the product
of these requirements.
