The Law School has an active
interschool trial team competition program.
Trial team members are selected
in an early-fall intraschool competition
(open to second year and higher students)
for interschool competition teams sponsored
by an alumna and a Providence law firm.
The Frances Johnson team competes
in the American Trial Lawyers' Association
Competition and the Hinkley Allen &
Snyder team participates in the National
Trial Competition.
The trial team has been the
school's most successful interschool program,
with at least one team advancing to the
semi-final round in regional competitions
in each of the past six years.
The faculty advisors are Professors
Ritchie and Zlotnick and the teams also
receive substantial help from attorney and
alumni coaches.
