In Memoriam: James MacDonald ’02

James MacDonald ’02, passed away following a brief illness. He will be greatly missed by his professors, classmates and colleagues at RWU Law.

James MacDonald '02James MacDonald ’02, 35, of East Providence, passed away on April 4, 2013, following a brief illness. A cum laude graduate of RWU Law, James served as president of the Rhode Island Chapter of the Federalist Society and was recognized for excellence in administrative law and securities regulation.

Since 2006,  he was employed by the Bank of America in Providence as assistant vice president of vendor/investor relations. A native of Attleboro, James was a member of the Massachusetts and Rhode Island Bar Association as well as the Turnaround Management Association. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Stephanie (Desmarais) MacDonald. He will be greatly missed by his professors, classmates and colleagues at RWU Law.
