From VOICE OF RUSSIA: "BP suing EPA to regain access to US government contracts" by Kim Brown

BP Oil SpillWASHINGTON (August 15, 2013)— Oil and gas giant BP is suing the Environmental Protection Agency in protest against the agency's prohibition on granting BP new government contracts.

The EPA imposed the restrictions following the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill. According to the oil company, this has already cost them billions of dollars.

Voice of Russia host Kim Brown spoke with David A. Logan, Dean of Roger Williams University School of Law about the merits of BP's suit.
