Tara I. Allen is an Assistant Federal Defender for the Federal District of Rhode Island, where she concentrates in federal criminal defense.  She previously served as a trial attorney for federal defenders offices in Pennsylvania and California.  She also served as staff counsel for two federal appeals courts.  In addition, Tara has over 10 years of teaching experience.
