How can I speak with someone in the Law Library to ask a general question?
Call us at 401-254-4546. Full time library staff are available Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm. Students are staffing the library during library hours.
How can I speak with someone in the Law Library to ask for assistance with a research question?
The Law Library provides assistance via chat, email, phone, and Zoom at Ask a Librarian!
How do I print in the Law Library?
For the fall 2020 semester, there will be no charge for printing in the Law Library. Print requests will be sent to the law library print queue or the Lexis printers. The requests can then be collected from the service desk at the Law Library Print Center. There is also more information on printing available at Wireless Computing and Printing.
Are you going to expand hours for exams?
A final decision on the Law Library's hours during the reading and exam period has not been made. The decision will guided by the status of the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
How do I obtain materials which are not in the Law Library's collection?
To place a request for assistance in obtaining materials from another library, go to the Law Library's Interlibrary Loan page for full information on the process and the request form.
When will the study rooms and computer classrooms in the Law Library be available?
The Law Library will continue to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 situation and reopen these resources as soon as the situation appropriately permits.
