This seminar will introduce attendees to the provisional rules for limited scope representation (LSR) in Rhode Island, adopted by order of the Rhode Island Supreme Court on May 23, 2017. Attendees will learn what LSR is, why the provisional rules for LSR were adopted, how LSR can increase access to justice, and ethical obligations for LSR, including recommendations for best practices when drafting LSR agreements.
