Celebrating First Women Lawyers in Rhode Island

Join us at this special event celebrating the first sixty years (1920-1979) of women admitted to the bar in Rhode Island. RWU Law will host a cocktail reception to recognize and honor Rhode Island's First Women jurists. There will be a speaking program to honor their contributions followed by the dedication of a plaque displaying the names of these female pioneers in the law. The reception will include RWU Law faculty, students, staff, and friends who wish to celebrate with us.
