HIV Testing Dates

AIDS Project Rhode Island is partnering with RWU Health Services to offer free, anonymous HIV and syphilis testing.  Gonorrhea and chlamydia testing will be offered at a discounted price.  Stop by Health Services and get yourself tested!  No appointment necessary. 

Testing dates for this semester will be:

• October 2, 2:30 to 4:30 pm
• November 13, 2:30 to 4:30 pm
• December 11, 2:30 to 4:30 pm

Nearly 20 million new STI’s occur in the United States each year.  One in every two sexually active young adults will get an STI before age 25.  Most people don’t know they are infected because many STI’s have no symptoms.  While most STI’s do not cause harm, some have the potential to cause serious health problems if not diagnosed and treated early. 

STI testing is one of the most powerful tools in protecting yourself and preventing transmission to others.
