Are you an AI Hotshot?

The Legal Beagle has briefly discussed using artificial intelligence responsibly in a previous post, and the Student Handbook covers its use in law school work, but how do you learn what’s “under the hood”, how to use it ethically in the real world, and its application in different types of legal practice? Hotshot Legal Artificial Intelligence, that’s how!

Hotshot Legal Intelligence consists of short courses and longer tracks to help you learn these fundamentals and specific use cases. “Fundamentals” courses include AI Concepts and Terms, Introduction to LLMs (Large Language Models) for Lawyers, and Prompting. Specialized courses for litigators (e.g., AI Use Cases for Litigators) and for transactional lawyers (e.g., GenAI Uses in Commercial Agreements) take you beyond the basics to real-life applications. Tracks consist of two or more courses that you can complete to receive a certificate: Generative AI Fundamentals for Lawyers and AI Ethics and Professional Responsibility for Lawyers.
