Roger Williams University School of Law Ranked No. 11 Nationally for Social Justice

Recognition from The National Jurist highlights the law school’s impact through clinics, scholarship, and community partnerships advancing justice.

BRISTOL, R.I. – Roger Williams University School of Law has been ranked No. 11 among the Top Law Schools for Social Justice by The National Jurist.

The rankings are based on a weighted assessment of law schools’ clinics, centers, courses, journals, related initiatives, and student diversity. The methodology underscores experiential learning and institutional commitment, evaluating how deeply social justice is embedded in academic programs and community engagement.

Experiential learning remains central to the curriculum, preparing graduates to enter the profession ready to expand access to justice in Rhode Island and beyond.
