RWU Law Alumni Association Board of Directors Nominations
All graduates of Roger Williams University School of Law (RWU Law) are encouraged to run for a position on the RWU Law Alumni Association Board of Directors.
*Nominations open on March 18 and close on April 1, 2026. Alums will receive a call for elections by email in late April with the candidates. Seven (7) Director seats are available this election term.
The goal of the RWU Law Alumni Association is to organize, connect, and engage alumni in meaningful relationships with one another and with the RWU School of Law. The Association aims to develop and maintain programs and activities that both strengthen the Association and support the institution.
The RWU Law Alumni Association Board of Directors seeks members of talent and accomplishment who have a record of engagement with, and service to, the institution. The RWU Law Alumni Association Board of Directors aims to broadly reflect the demographic, ethnic, racial, gender, and geographic diversity of the school’s alumni and have a commitment to supporting the institution’s mission and anti-racist work.
Graduates of RWU Law who have been awarded a Juris Doctor or have received an Honorary degree from RWU Law are eligible for election to the RWU Law Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Current RWU Law employees who are also alumni may serve on the Board of Directors, but are not eligible to hold an officer position.
*Please submit applications by April 1, 2026 for consideration to join the RWU Law Alumni Association Board of Directors in the 2026-27 year.
- Selected alums are appointed to a three-year Board of Directors term.
- Next term will begin July 1, 2026.
