3L Law Review Members

Kelsey Carter is from Shamong, New Jersey. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice at Utica University, where she also played basketball. In addition to being a member of Law Review, Kelsey is a member of Moot Court and is a teaching assistant for Civil Procedure. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys going to the beach, playing pickleball, cooking, frolicking in the sun, and spending time with family.

Stephen is from Methuen Massachusetts. He went to Undergrad at Bryant University in Smithfield RI where he studied politics and law with three minors in Management, psychology and communication. He also played on the Football team there for 4 years. After Law School, Stephen wants to do some sort of litigation whether criminal or civil. He is also a member of RWU Moot Court, Student Bar Association as a 2L representative, and is a 2L representative for the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. After his 1L year, Stephen worked as a Law Clerk for the Law Offices of Richard S. Humphrey, writing motions to dismiss OUI charges, as well as drafting civil complaints for various types of civil actions. In his free time, he likes watching football, playing video games, and hanging out with friends.

Jess is from Norton, Massachusetts. She graduated from UMass Amherst in 2024 where she majored in Marketing, minored in Political Science, and received a certificate in Business Analytics. After her 1L year, Jess interned at FM in their Litigation and Corporate Affairs department while also working in the admissions office here at RWU Law. In addition to being a part of the editorial staff during her 2L year, Jess was a Student Ambassador, a Teaching Assistant for Torts I & II, an Academic Excellence Teaching Fellow, a Street Law Student Leader, and Vice President of the Sport and Entertainment Law Society. This past summer Jess worked as a Summer Associate at Pierce Atwood where she will be returning to work following graduation. In her 3L year, Jess will be externing in the Rhode Island Supreme Court and continuing in her roles of Student Ambassador and Vice President of the Sport and Entertainment Law Society, as well as working as a Legal Foundations TA. In her free time, Jess enjoys reading and spending time with her family and dog.

Alex Sanchez is from Pawtucket, Rhode Island. He graduated from Roger Williams University in 2022, where he double majored in Legal Studies and English Literature. Prior to attending law school, Alex worked for a transactional attorney in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Following his 2L year, Alex was a summer associate at Sousa Marujo LTD, where he acquired experience working with business law and franchise law. Outside of law school, Alex enjoys watching soccer, working out, and spending time with friends and family.
